An injury report was released Friday by Texas Head Athletic Trainer for Football Kenny Boyd.
The following players have been released to return to full participation:
? Junior OT Josh Cochran (lower left leg)
? Senior OG Trey Hopkins (lower left leg)
??Junior LB Tevin Jackson (right shoulder)
??Senior DE Jackson Jeffcoat (right shoulder/pectoral muscle)
The following players all had recent procedures to address lingering hip injuries. All three will be limited at the start of preseason training camp, progressively work back into full practice and are?expected to be at full speed and ready to go for the season opener on Aug. 31:
? Junior CB Quandre Diggs
??Junior WR Jaxon Shipley
? Junior S Josh Turner
Senior WR Mike Davis underwent hernia surgery recently, will be limited at the start of preseason training camp, but is expected to be at full speed and ready to go for the season opener.
Senior LB Demarco Cobbs (right knee surgery), will be out for the beginning of preseason training camp but is expected to return to practice?near the end of that session.
Big 12 Media Days are set for Monday and Tuesday in Dallas. The Longhorns will take part in Tuesday's session.
Preseason practice begins on Aug. 5.
