Barbara Corcoran imparts plenty of homebuying and selling advice unto an unsuspecting Today Show populace on a weekly basis, but here's an opportunity to see if Her Babsness can put her money where her mouth is. The real estate mogul and Shark Tank judge/investor (who sold off her eponymous brokerage for $66M in 2001) has just put her place in Pawling, N.Y.?a "billionaire-friendly" town in scenic Dutchess County?on the market for $545K. Originally a 19th-century schoolhouse, the white-clapboard four-bedroom Cape measures 2,650 square feet and has cathedral ceilings, white beadboard kitchen cabinetry, French doors leading out to a pretty bluestone patio, a covered porch, and something the brokerbabble calls "secret cottage gardens." Obviously the staging and listing photography are impeccable: girlfriend would never go about this selling thing half-assedly. "What makes the parting so sad is, [this house] represents my kids, my garden, everything great that has happened in my life so far," Corcoran said on the Today Show recently. "It's really hard to say goodbye to something you love." (And those Cuban pig roasts, right Barb?) Thankfully a 3,500-square-foot Park Avenue pad with views of Central Park isn't such a bad place to wipe away tears.
